Winter Birthday Party

Brief: Winter 40th Birthday Party in North Yorkshire. The marquee decoration was Narnia themed but the hosts just chose a menu to include their favourite food. Little squares of Turkish Delight and White Chocolate Snowballs were served later in the evening to reflect the Narnia theme.

Menu:

Delicious canapes were washed down with Champagne and homemade Sparkling Eldeflower followed by a two course meal finished off with a shot of tequila. White chocolate snowballs, Turkish delight, Rocky Road Chocolate Squares and a selection of Continental Cheeses were displayed on a side table for guests to enjoy later in the evening with their cocktails.

Starter

Prawn and Crayfish Tails with a Tabasco and Dill Sauce on Crunchy Leaf topped with Smoked Salmon Julienne, Bronze and Green Cress’s with a Vodka Spiked ‘Bull Shot’

Main Course

Tender Loin of Local Free Range Pork with Sage, Thyme and Apple Infusion wrapped in Parma Ham and served with Dauphinoise Potatoes and an Ampleforth Cider and Mustard Sauce with Red Cabbage and Purple/Green Tender Stem Broccoli

‘Pudding’

A Shot of Tequila with a Pile of Salt and Wedge of Lime served on a slate.
