Set in 40 acres of beautiful gardens bounded by the River Ure, Newby is a truly unique setting in which to entertain guests. The elegant 17th Century house with its exquisite Adam interiors provides an atmospheric venue. There are several beautiful sites to consider, within the house and grounds, for your special day.

This unique 18th century house with 1000 acre grounds can occasionally be hired exclusively and offer a huge variety of spaces to accommodate everything from a private dinner for a select few to parties and weddings for hundreds of guests. It has been the back drop for the Brideshead Revisited films and celebrity wedding celebrations.

The Orangery at Settrington
A beautiful stone building set in the private and elegant gardens of Settrington House, which is owned by the Storey family. Located in a tranquil North Yorkshire village, half an hour from York, it is both charming and peaceful in equal measure.
Elegant and exquisitely furnished family owned country house provides the ideal setting for a wedding where guests can celebrate in style and complete privacy. Weddings can be held both in the stately home or gardens.

Priory Cottages
Priory Barn and its stunning cottages are situated on a private secluded farming estate of Syningthwaite in North Yorkshire, just outside Wetherby.
The venue itself is made up of The Barn, a full dressed Marquee seating 140 guests and 7 beautifully individually designed decorated cottages which sleep up to 29 guests. The stone cottages are all centered around a beautiful and tranquil courtyard, the perfect photo backdrop.
Hutton Wandesley Stables is a beautiful Victorian stable block recently renovated into a luxury wedding venue and holiday accommodation. The Stables, Walled Garden and Botanicum (event barn) lies in the heart of Hutton Wandesley Estate, a privately owned 3000 estate in the Vale of York. Holding just a handful of weddings a year this is the perfect to suit a full weekend of celebrations.
